So I've been using the old MelonDS core prior to this with sav files I've noticed that this new core doesn't seem to read my saves anymore If I change the extension to srm they read fine Using the old MelonDS core I could change the clock on my desktop and it would update in the game in real time, just by alt tabbing back into the game
