trouble is in desert its the amount of hits , look at most hi speed crashes, lottsa hits over over until energy dissipates, front crumple is the most usefull, for lawn darts cows, but a couple good nerfs you probably crumpled your crumple, best thing is build your bumpers and non cage exterior stuff out of mild steel dom, even erw seem welded junk, its good for a couple good crumples
