I'm heading up the GMU 15 this weekend to scout for first season rifle (my first time hunting there) I'm going to take a look around the Sarvis Creek Wilderness area and north of the Lynx Pass Campground We are in a 4x4 so probably only hiking in a couple miles We will be driving through Kremmling and I'll keep an eye out for a supply store

I solo hunted Unit 21 first rifle last year My experience: a lot of hunters (all very friendly) around except for the ridge I was camped on; when I arrived there was 4" of snow on the ground and it was cold at night; saw 1 bull 2 days before the season started while setting up my tent but saw a lot of fresh sign in every morning and a half dozen cows with a spike one day

My wife and I both drew doe tags for units 69, 84, 85, 86, 691, 861 in Colorado This will be our very first antelope hunt and from what I've seen on the plat maps it seems public land access around where the antelope will be is spotty and limited We're planning on going scouting in a few weeks

The best I can do is GMU 59 and 41 I was up there in May Saw a lot of animals in northern 41 and a few in western 59 I'm heading back up to western part of 59 on Saturday to scout for my hunt next month I know they have been getting hit and miss rain, but its getting dry
