FYI I realize that I may be approved for only a certain amount that will not exceed a certain DTI ratio tl;dr Why does $0 in rent, $100 in rent, or $2000 in rent make a difference when I'm not going to be paying it once I own a house?? FYI, I voted Libertarian in 2016 because I very strongly disliked both HRC and Trump, and as I then lived in Colorado, which was already definitely blue after being a swing state for many years, my vote didn't matter, so I signified my dislike of the two major candidates for voting for a third party candidate
