Looks like you are using some kind of launcher The default way is to open Citra Nightly or Citra Canary shortcuts in the start menu (e g Windows) Other ways are opening citra-qt where Citra is installed

Please try out a portable Citra build to rule out any issues in appdata or with your normal Citra installation: Go to Download Citra - Citra and select Manual download Then under Nightly Build, click on your operating system’s icon to the right of the latest build available to download the build

Citra can play a wide variety of ROM formats: 3DS, CXI, ELF, CCI, CIA ( app), 3DSX and so on ‘‘ROM’’ simply stands for Read Only Memory → Which basically means that it has a bunch of hardwired instructions that a device uses when it boots up It also means that it cannot be electronically modified after it’s creation

When starting the game on citra I get an error message and selecting continue the screen goes black, no video or sound coming from the game in the save slots, I can load my game but at the moment it freezes or I get the black screen error again
