- Yaesu FTX-1F QRP - WorldwideDX Radio Forum
I have always preferred Yaesu over Icom Dual RX will hopefully allow for duplex satellite work I have an IC-705, X6100, and an FT-817ND already but you can't have too many QRP rigs Hopefully it doesn't suffer from the horrendous LCD touch screen interference that the IC-705 does, when used with portable antennas in close proximity 73

- Are Yaesus being made in China and suffering? - WorldwideDX Radio Forum
Some of this may stem from the fact that the Yaesu radios are indeed made in Japan while the accessories for them are often made in China My FT-857D is made in Japan while the stock MH-31 microphone it came with is made in China as is a lot of other smaller items from Yaesu Does not make sense to me but it must to someone
- Yaesu FTDX10 versus FT-710 - WorldwideDX Radio Forum
And let Yaesu improve it New systems are fraught with errors FT-710 is a T-win A D converter and has excellent reception performance It also has a wonderful shield structure and is well protected against vibration I hope that the firmware upgrade will solve these problems FT-710 is just born, so let's keep an eye on its future growth
