In terms of Xpel vs others films, IIRC Xpel is slightly thinner than the others and therefore maybe easier to to wrap around the car edges If no lines around the edges is important to you, this may be a reason to select Xpel over the others However, I would not say it is impossible to wrap a thicker film around edges if done by an experienced
