Second vote for whatfontis com it works basically the same way as whatthefont, but whatthefont only identifies fonts that are part of the myfonts website (which admittedly is HUGE) Whatfontis identifies fonts from dozens of sites, including all of myfonts, plus fonts com, those freebie sites like dafont, etc

Just used it on a problem font I was having earlier with no luck from whatthefont and identifont It didn't read the letters right at first, but once I inputted them manually it found the correct font right away!

Those are usually the fonts that are available for sale at their site which limits the apps identification capability So if you are looking for numerous script fonts that had been appearing lately, you will have a better chance of finding what that font is here at Dafont than at MyFonts WhatTheFont and FontSpring FontSquirrel
