For migrating to Windows 7 we are running into an issue where computers will not accept the push if they have user profiles that end with bak in the registry I was attempting to write a script to fix this but as of now I have not been able to get a wildcard to work with deleting the profiles that end in bak Is there a way to use wildcards for editing the registry, or is there an easier way

I am using SCOM 2016 and trying to find a way to monitor the existence of a registry key on Windows servers I've seen some examples online, but didn't seem to find what I was looking for Basically I just need something simple to look for a registry key say every 10 minutes to make sure it is there, and if not raise a critical alert

The problem we are having is that when the script runs it is affecting the registry entries on the client machine, so whilst it allows the sequenced version of Outlook to work correctly the local version has lost it's Profile settings as they have been removed from the Registry
