The Weber is a very bright and brash sounding speaker, which I was able to tame by rolling back the treble to 5-6, and boosting the bass a little I'm going to leave it in for a while, play a few gigs with it, see how it goes Right now I'm kind of thinking that the Jensen is the better speaker, more weight, bigger voice coil, etc

And Ted Weber is a joy to deal with My Mini acquired a frightening rattle after I dropped it at a gig He fixed it, gratis I recently picked up a Duncan Twin Tube Classic (best overdrive I've ever used -- but that's another thread) and discovered that its tone control does a great job of returning the highs the attenuator loses

I have an Ampeg Jet that I'd really love to shoehorn an alnico into I have a Weber and a Red Fang lying around I could use Neither will fit I'm wondering how much depth I can shave off the speakers by removing the bell covers? Thanks
