As I approach 78 years I find my desire to carry heavy lenses and cameras up hills on hikes is wearing thin so I purchased the Viltrox AF 28mm F4 5 XF lens for $99 as a lightweight alternative for my X-E1 and X-T50 Fuji’s This is not a technical review of the lens but a first time single day
- Misc. Native X Mount - Got the new Viltrox 25mm f 1. 7
The Viltrox 25mm f1 7 X-Mount is a good all around lens with a practical focal length and the AF is snappy and fast in most conditions It works fine on my X-T30II but I have issues with shooting modes on my X-Pro 2
- 33mm F 1. 4 R LM WR Fujifilm XF33 1. 4 WR or Viltrox Pro 27 1. 2?
If you could only pick one, would you go with the Viltrox 27mm 1 2 Pro or Fujifilm XF 33mm 1 4 WR and why? I'm especially interested AF-C tracking speed precision and IQ with human subjects faces I shoot on a Fujifilm X-T5, mostly candid people photography Thanks for your opinions

This is why I sold it, because at the end Viltrox 27 1 2 will give similar results, as humble FF 40 1 8 prime As for UWA then currently Viltrox 13 1 4 is clear winner, when one is looking for best possible sharpness across the frame in X-Trans V 40mpix

Thanks for the heads up on this lens I bought it I've now got a collection of ultra thin lenses the 7 Artisans 18mm F6 3 UFO, the Pergear 10mm F8, the new Viltrox and a funky lens made from single use film camera lenses I'll use them with my X-E1 and X-T50 for an ultra light outfit for hiking
