1st thing to find is the upfitter power wires, they are above and left of the steering column, mine were actually taped on top of the harness and could not be seen by just looking up from the pedal area 2nd thing is locating the pass thru wires, they are in the wire bundle at the emergency brake pedal assembly

There are four upfitter wires taped to the main wiring harness that goes through the firewall You need to splice the wire from the upfitter switch you plan on using to one of the feed through wires to get power outside of the cab
