For the record, I bought my first Uniden scanner in the 1980's, have held or do still hold Amateur, GMRS, and Business Band radio licenses, and I managed a radio system with 2 mountaintop repeaters, 5-6 base stations, about 70+ portable and about 25-30 mobile radios
