Do you suppose one of the reasons Toyota recommends putting the transfer case into 4H at least once a month is to exercise the ADD and the sliding sleeve? In other words, could the lack of actuation of the ADD system cause it to potentially hesitate or stick? Is the majority of ADD problems electrical or is mechanical problems quite common as well?
