Just a quick overview of my MAC 5K Took it out with 9-30rd mags, 1-50rd drum, 1-20rd mag and then put at least another 50rds thru it Around 400rds or so, not suppressed Some 124gr and 115gr Mags were KCI, Magpul drum, MKE, and MAC I don't think I had any failures with the MAC mags but I could be mistaken

After waiting six seven weeks to get both of my MAC 1014's back from repair because the shells were getting hung up on the shell lifter, I finally got out to the range intending to fire various loads to see which ones worked the best Well about twenty rounds in one of my MAC's stopped releasing the shell damn, pisses me off

The MAC is a lot more clone correct than the Panzer The Panzer takes a LOT of liberties with some parts The MAC also uses an actual nickel teflon finish in their marine models vs paint like the Panzer The Panzer MIGHT have better quality parts though, lots of stories about the MAC breaking gas piston parts due to them being loctighted in

Very few parts I have a couple of Benelli M1s and they've ran great with all loads I've tried- I got this MAC 2 because I liked the walnut so much It looks like the Mac 2 weighs about 1 5 pounds less than the 1014, which means it will recoil more, plus the inertia system doesn't soak up any recoil like the gas guns But, I don't find it to be

I got inspired to do this too I swapped in the Prodigy grip MSH and kept all other MAC parts In order of most effort: Trigger needed aggressive filing on both top and bottom Prodigy grip also needed some light sanding to straighten out the trigger channel Magwell took moderate filing to shape the bottom to match MAC grip
