Hi My suggestion is to add Face Selection in section analysis in the ACC Viewer Now you can only choose X- Y- or Z-plan, and then you need to rotate the section very rough by dragging the rotation arrows and try to align them as close as possible to the plane where you want to do a section cut

My problem was that I confused "Split Face" with the "Split Element" tool Select a Wall > select "Split Face" (icon looks like a 90's computer screen) > go to a corner and draw a singular, diagonal line > select "Finish Edit Mode" (Screenshot attached) Now, magically, the reveals separate the exterior face of the wall for materials to be applied

This is where showing a dot at the center of extents would yield great results Say you had a sphere that you imported There is no planer surface to work with So you can't even use a mid plane construct to slice the sphere(ok you maybe able to if you zoom down to a very uncomfortable level)

workplane-based belongs to a workplane face So you have 3 options : 1 uncheck workplane-based from the properties panel in the rfa 2 create a ref-plane in the project and align your workplanebased rfa to it after this can be moved together 3 use this rfa as a nested in a new generic family

Occasionally I may get an STL file that has no original source file and I will convert the mesh to a body so I can modify it nbsp; If the object is simple and has several faces on the same plane is there a way to merge these faces so I can bring the body closer to it's original state? nbsp; I see something similar happens if I grab all of the faces on one side and use the Push Pull tool nbsp
