在三八镇的东部，南部与hua华安管理区连接,西南与谢边管理区、北面与水步镇、东西与附城镇相邻。耕地面积826亩，其中水田706亩，岗地120亩。人口926人。从民国直至解放初期，良洞和华安、谢边、上桥统称三社乡，良洞属上社。1945年，良洞曾被日寇实行“三光”政策，烧掉民房84间、杀害村民16人
