Certainly a tt30 adapter is useless for on the go charging but if modified properly for the S has the potential to double the rate of charge compared to 12A at 120 when parked at your destination for several days, which has been surprisingly common this summer

The ac works adapter for tt30 and a gen 2 mobile charger works as designed 24 amps @ 110-122v (whatever the circuit is feeding) So my problem was the ev dog one type, which the ease is likely smart enough to limit amps to 16, as if it was a plain 20a outlet

TT30 is mostly specific to RV parks and is 30A 120V as mentioned above If you haven’t been to the park, you should definitely confirm the plug type before buying an adapter

The one from ONETAK will require you also buy a 14-30 adapter from Tesla ($45) The one from Homedepot plugs directly into the mobile connector, so that is simpler Interesting that these are now available from Homedepot, here is the only place that used to have these - perhaps Homedepot is reselling these:

Proper tt30 are all designed for frequent use since they were for rv use They do wear out (such as in old rv parks) but it takes several years or more of daily use
