- Trying To Figure Out My TiVo Model. . . Any Help Appreciated!
I have a TiVo Unit from Suddenlink, which is out local Cable Company that does our TV Service They didn't leave the box or paperwork with the unit, so I'm having trouble finding it I did a search using the model number: PX001DST I also looked at a ton of sites that said you could find out by the TSN Prefix, but mine is never listed It is D180

I have called TiVo support who sends me to Suddenlink Suddenlink isn't listening to me and instead just wants to send a technician out with 2 of THEIR Tivo minis I don't want to pay $7 00 per month per each mini from Suddenlink I may be going back to OTA only and ditching Suddenlink TV totally

It looks like Suddenlink has both the Premiere and Pace MG boxes Suddenlink controls the OS level "One Pass" is newer terminology for TiVo, you likely have "Season Passes"

It's worth a try but keep in mind that the FCC dropped the CableCARD rule last year So cable companies like Suddenlink are no longer required by law to support CableCARDs Among the larger operators, it seems like Altice (Optimum Suddenlink) is the worst at supporting them any more (based on first-hand reports on this site and others)
