I’ve been looking into getting a non-optic AUG for awhile now, but was curious about the NATO vs Austrian models Obviously the NATO takes AR mags and the Austrian uses the original AUG mags, but besides that what differences are there? Could you put a NATO gun in an Austrian stock or vice versa

That Steyr SCS optics cut was the easiest of any of them I’ve done optics cuts on many slides CZ ( 2 different models ) , Steyr , Glock Frame mount optics ( red dot and scope ) on 1911’s , Berreta M4 , Steyr and compensator’s for all of the them The 1911 compensator is the easiest and the Steyr is the most complex

I like specialized forums, like for Sako, Steyr, double guns, target shooting I would hope that folks who own precision rifles, like the Steyr, which are made with nearly identical dimensions, will trade information on ammunition and handloads, and hunting experiences, good and bad

The Steyr feels less "mass-produced" than a Glock The weight of the Steyr feels more even than the Glock (which is a very top-heavy pistol) The trigger on a Glock, if left stock, is nasty feeling Lots more, but hell, I own a G19 and I love that little sucker so What was I saying?

The Steyr sits low in the hand and points naturally and recovers fast from shot to shot All in all I cannot complain considering the Styer so far has been reliable and accurate and the price was certainly right as I only paid $300 at a pawn shop for it and it was like new in the box with an extra mag, manual and other paperwork

There's a handful of you guys out there I've seen don't mind the trigger pull of 9 lbs on the Aug, and then the majority of people want a lighter pull, I alike also want the same, so I looked into the arid trigger and ratworx 20 20 sear, with the right tuning of the linkage it doesn't display
