- XD XDm Reliability - Handgun Forum
As noted below, I decided, after much research, to go with the Springfield XD Although my decision to go with the XD wasn't based solely on info from any single source, Springfield's 20,000-round XD Torture Test (see below) was pretty damned convincing

- XD9 or XD 40 Dilemma - Handgun Forum
XD9 or XD 40 I shoot for sport and to keep up my skills for self defense, so I can't speak to the competitive aspects of this conversation, but if the cost of ammo is not the biggest issue here, I lean toward the 40 over the 9 I have 3 Springfield's; a 9mm 5" Tactical, a 3 8 XDM 40 and a sub compact XD 40
- Sig vs. Springfield Armory | Handgun Forum
XD doesn't have quite as storied a history, though Springfield Armory certainly does We've noted in discussions on this forum before that there is a flavor of pistol ou there for every shape, size, preference, inseam, hat size, etc Factoring out customer service and brand recognition: How does each work for you?
- sig sauer vs. springfield xd (m) - Handgun Forum
The travel is pretty close the pull might be a little better in the XD if comparing it to a Sig in double action Single action the Sig wins hands down in my opinion though You really can't go wrong either way The XD will be a good bit cheaper in you buy new but a Duty Tested (certified pre owned) Sig can be found around 500-550 in most places
