As a first shotgun, I seriously doubt you'll be taking advantage of the Blink system on the 1301 unless you have a really fast trigger finger I doubt you'd ever outrun the A300 For multi-day classes, the lighter weight of the 1301 would be better though Since it's your first shotgun, I'd probably go with the A300 Ultima Patrol
