There are better sailing grounds in TN other than the TN river such as Lake Cherokee and Lake Wautauga If I was to do it over again I would look at a trailer sailer that is easily rigged, easy to launch and retrieve on a "shallow" boat ramp but is comfortable enough for two to spend a weekend
