I, for example, don’t buy SGOV the five days before its ex date Before that, I gain something that month even taking into account taxes, or just break even Reply reply more replyMore replies Necroking695 • It, by definition, does not matter Reply reply more replyMore repliesMore repliesMore repliesMore replies gasallbrakesno • Reply reply
- SGOV - what am I missing? : r ETFs - Reddit
SGOV and BIL sucked when interest rates were below 0 25% because they couldn’t even hold value But now that rates are back into average territory, it’s a great option and arguably better than an HYSA because you will always get the competitive T-bills rate, not whatever your bank feels like giving this month

- SGOV vs some popular money market mutual funds : r Bogleheads - Reddit
SGOV is more appropriate for slightly longer timelines, but it won't make a huge difference Most (probably all) of the difference between money market funds can be attributed to differences in duration and credit risk
- Are there better alternatives to SGOV for short-term treasury . . . - Reddit
SGOV seems to be one of the more popular short-term treasury ETFs out there but I've also since heard of USFR and BIL, etc As of right now, is there a clear winner among them or a reason to go for one or the other?
