Considering selling my 1970 Fender Twin silverface Been stored in house and not played much for 25 years Just had maintenance on it last year All power supply caps replaced Tubes tested and one weak one replaced Works and sounds great Very clean and comes with a hand made quilted cover by an auto upholsterer Any thoughts on the value? Thanks

A good pedal steel sound needs an exceptionally good reverb on it when called for, especially in the upper registers I've tried a couple of Alesis digital versions and am underwhelmed Anyone have recommendations on a good reverb, preferably with a pedal switch on it? Recently my 74 Princeton Reverb crapped out and it was $440 to rebuild the board I decided I wanted a new amp that would not require servicing for many years After looking around the new 68 Custom Pro Reverb looked like the perfect package Same weight as my Princeton but with 40 watts and a 12" speaker

I tried plugging an Alesis Nanoverb into the effects loop of my Peavy Classic 30 to add a dash of delay or plate reverb The effect (s) sounds great, but just plugging the unit in, even with the wet mix knob turned totally off, really thins the sound

I record and gig with a silverface Fender Pro reverb (early 70s) which is 40 watts, basically half the power of a Twin I can't attest to how blackface amps sound, but I think old silverface Twins and Pros are the perfect workingman's amp
