The Raytheon R40 R41xx, R20 R21xx, and R10 R11xx, series radars were actually made by JRC for Raytheon Raymarine This was a stop-gap between their old PPI marine radars (such as the venerable Model 3100, which I used for years damn that thing drew about 20 amps @ 12vdc!) and the newer "Pathfinder" radars (such the R-70 RL-70, R-80 RL-80)

The radome is a Raytheon Part M92559, 18" 2kw Together they are part M92557 Both units were working together just fine when I started removing them form the boat I haven't pulled the cable yet but I will every attempt to keep it in one piece The pic of the radome could definitely be described as "lacking" If you need better let me know

I have an old Raytheon R20X radar, after warming up process it will start for 2 seconds and the array starts to rotate, but after this 2 second, there will be message "Bearing pulse error"!? I have understood, that this might be caused by damaged Bearing pulse generator or damaged Ship's heading marker switch?

a couple of years ago i did an electronics refit from rl70c st60's you can keep your transducers and convert to seatalkng by using a raymarine itc-5 to terminate the transducers, and an I70 unit to calibrate this also becomes a handy nav station cog sog gps xte wind whatever display

Thought I'd post an update From what I've found, the Raytheon transducers seem to be made by Airmar, and the transducers on my boat are also Airmar The problem is that I can't find any part numbers stamped on the transducers, although I see numbers on the cables (depth transducer wire has Airmar 03-0596 and speed has Airmar 05-0596)
