imo the idea that movies above a certain rating are "good" and below are "bad" seems to forget (or purposely leave out) all the decent mediocre films you know, the ones which, if you would get asked about you wouldn't really call a "good movie" - but you wouldn't really call it a "bad movie" either (because they were just "okay")

I think about the scale as a line segment scale So there are movies with the same rating for example 8 but in my mind I may view them as 8 0 and 8 9 With the ones very close to a better or worse rating I am always thinking if I should bump them up to the next rating or take them down a notch to a lower rating

This is the answer I never really cared for a strat but they are of course nice To me the SURF VMPF ratings are what matter, because when you apply to select jobs they will have a pre-requisite like "Last 3 EPR's must be AC or LC" and anything lower than that will either disqualify you or make it so much more difficult

That is correct Any EPR that fell under the new system will have a C at the end This is different if you go to the "Promotions" section in vMPF; it will show NR if you werent eligible, or it will have your promotion rating if you were eligible on your DVR
