RTINGS is great, always check them before making a purchase decision The only let down is that they don't have many products tested, their throughput is rather limited and some things I'd wish to compare are not on there Hope LTT Labs is going to be something akin to RTINGS or better, we definitely need more of this stuff

I think rtings com is a good starting point, but shouldn't be the only thing you use Ratings on rtings com change over time for a variety of reasons For example, the Vizio D series reviewed in March has already changed from a 7 7 up to a 7 8 Although this example is a small change, some changes are bigger
