The most common reason for the Quadra starting to boot, getting part way, then starting over is insufficient power We ship the Quadra with a 2 or 2 5a power adapter, but a lot of other adapters (and other sources such as PC USB ports, TV USB ports, etc) are less, sometimes as low as 5a Anything less than 2a is going to be unreliable It is easy to accidentally plug it into the wrong adapter
