UQ is much harder and more knowledge textbook based whereas QUT is more hands on with assignments I've studied Engineering at both Universities and preferred QUT because it was easier (I prefer assignments over exams)

I started a different degree at UQ before switching to QUT for education and overall I like QUT better, all assignments are due at 11:59pm unlike UQ with their random times, and the 48 hour automatically approved extension on all assignments is pretty neat Kelvin grove campus is easier to get to by public transport as well
