Psychonauts 2's overall story also hits a lot deeper than the first one did, but I don't really see that as a positive or negative thing, just a different focus narratively So, with the dust settled on the second game, which one of these two do you prefer?

I finally got around to playing the original Psychonauts a while back and was both impressed and mildly disappointed in unexpected ways by the title First off: I think everyone should at least try playing Psychonauts It's concept is brilliant, and from a writing standpoint it really makes the most of it's premise

Is Psychonauts on Steam playable with a controller or do I have to use mouse+keyboard? I want to buy Psychonauts and play it on the pc since that's my only option to get the game, as the ps2 version is a very shoddy port from what I'm told

I personally think Psychonauts 2 is great and well worth the money, easily eclipsing its predecessor in practically every area However, the 16-year wait between the installments means that no matter how good the end result is, the time passed means that game cannot under any circumstances live up to the expectations and the hype people have managed to create for it
