I figured a new thread was warranted since these are actually shipping now Today I received a new Vudu 1-10 LE5 reticle (MRAD christmas tree with a crosshair in the middle rather than a circle-dot) Just going to post some first impressions here and will flesh this out as I start to use it 1)

IMO the vudu 1-10 sucks The reticle is too fine to quickly pick up at 1x, so it fails the basic purpose of running an LPVO The illumination is also not daylight bright Finally, the eyebox is pretty tight at 10x (probably true of any 1-10) Running up drills and transition drills with my 2 5-10 glx vs my buddies vudu, I had the same time and better hits with my glx at 2 5x vs the vudu at 1x

I have been considering an ffp Optika 6 or another SHV F1 to go on a moderated Anschutz 22lr and came across the vudu line of scopes and find myself drawn to getting one simply to try out something new Pretty heavy at 900grams (almost Delta territory) but I am a big lad so the weight won't put

Looking at these two for a 16” gas gun With military pricing I think the Vudu is $80 more or so Any reason to get one over the other? I’ve never had a eotech or Trijicon scope

Eotech VUDU 5-25: 30 oz , seems to have CA and or image issues above 20x (but that may not matter much), simple 0 2 MRAD cross reticle, rotating objective So, is the Vudu the best answer? After typing this out, perhaps the Trijicon is a better option

The vudu is obviously very very compact and much lighter compared to the razor gen ii, and much shorter than the amg The illumination adjustments on the vudu via the press buttons is actually very nice and easy to use I was sceptical of that design at first but actually enjoy the speed and ease of them versus the turn dial on the razors
