A local shop had a P94 on the shelf that looked like new I didn't have the cash, but I put enough down to hold it It's a 9mm, a 2002 model It still has all the paperwork, including the warranty card Pardon my ignorance on this, but was the 94 the only P series gun in more then one caliber

The P94 weighs and balances a bit differently than my P95 but, as with any firearm, practice will get you acquainted with her personality You will see when you take her out that, if she is in good condition and properly sighted, she will be easy to master Personally, I think you will like the P94 very much, it is a great 9mm firearm!

Looks like a P944T which stands for a special edition "Two Tone" Ruger used to call them the P94 but they made the P94 in both 9mm and 40s w So the 40cal version got the extra 4 to designate the different caliber The finish of the slide is indicative of age of a Blued steel product from Ruger The older Ruger Security-Sixes and other revolvers tend to become "Plum" in color The P-series guns

The P94 (9mm) and the P944 (same gun, only chambered in 40) are alloy-framed; Ruger "cleaned up" some of the asthetics, and strengthened some of the internal components; I believe that the trigger pull was cleaned up a bit as well

Well, their is not any real differences between the p93 and p94, both 9mm, however the p944 is a 40 caliber sw, its says p94 on the slide but model number on the paperwork is p944

The P94 has a taller chamber block on the barrel, but the top of the slide is planed lower around the front sight Both the P93 and P94 are planed a little lower on the top of the slide between the chamber and the rear sight, than the P89

Is the P94 a 9mm or 40 S W? The 40 is really a P944, but the slide says P94 (Go figure) I've had both, as well as a newer style P95 They are all great guns As mentioned earlier, the P95 has a polymer frame and is lighter It is also a little less bulky - the safety levers on the new style P95 are flatter, making the gun narrower
