The Opel axle is offset to the passenger side somewhat I'll try to take measurements later but I think maybe as much as a couple inches? I was looking at the Chevy S-10 2wd axle (GM 7 5" 10 bolt) which is only 54 5" WMS to WMS That's only two inches more than the stock GT axle
