The paperwork on Nurtec says it can take up to 2 hours for relief to start so don't feel bad that it takes a while for you That's why they say take at the first sign of a headache and don't wait for it to turn into a migraine

If the nurtec doesn’t work I usually try Excedrin migraine after and that often gets it down to a manageable level (pain reduction but still experience the dizziness etc) In general I do get relief from the nurtec but wind up with a rebound the next day
