Regarding wide zooms, Nikon has none in Z mount like the older AF-S 17-35 2 8 or AF-S 16-35 4 Except for the Nikon Tamron 17-28, which has a rather restricted range, there are no zooms for those who want to go wider than 24mm, but don't need or want the super-wide 14mm zooms

Nikon USA has just sent out e-mail about the new firmware, and I have confirmed with them that it is not yet available for download That is kind of strange, since they are promoting the new firmware all over the world; I have seen YouTube videos from Australia, Hong Kong Hopefully Nikon is not running into some last-minute glitches

Nikon's subject and eye detection boxes seem to dance around a lot, and IMO the eye box is typically so approximate that it doesn't fully tell us where the camera is focusing and if it has achieved satisfactory focus This is especially the case when the subject is small in the frame

With Nikon cameras and flashes, the two EC's are additive Depending on the flash and camera used, the settings will be made on the camera and the flash For the Z8 you will set camera EC on the camera If the above cannot be done use a Nikon flash in TTL BL and set both camera and flash EC and experiment
