My LG is a brand new WebOS monitor (ie no tuner), for which I can use a STB for free-to-air, and wifi (guest!!!) for 9Now and other internet apps I also use NextDns at home router level, with rather tight DNS control The logs on NextDns showed 9Now tried several calls out at app startup, some being blocked

9Now has hanged and to freeze the TV to force me to power off the TV and to push the button to back on and fixed I don't know, there no issues with other apps but soon after there a small picture bug on YouTube and for me to close the app and to reboot the TV to fix that issue

On 9Now up top is says "connect your tv" Can this be done using your laptop? Or is it only through the app? I have the app installed and just tried to connect using my phone but nothing happen Numbers are suppose to appear on your tv and you have to put them in to connect to 9Now Seems it doesn't work

I tried the 9Now tech support but they were unable to help, finally telling me to wait for an updated app to see if that fixed the problem I have a phone which detects the correct region, but using it on my nVidia Shield gives me Sydney news, and the same on my Sony Android tv I've hunted through the settings, but haven't found anything there

So recently 9Now and 7Plus apps on my Samsung H6400 (2014) have stopped working – they both report

Not exactly a solution, but as a workaround I cast from the 9Now app on my phone to the Nvidia Shield The phone app gets the correct location (strange considering the phone and Nvidia Shield are on the same public IP)

As this only occurred with 9NOW I assumed the problem lay with them After a particularly bad session I performed a soft reset of the Sony (toggled mains power) and that temporarily fixed it I began to suspect the Sony and reported the issue to them They responded with:" [it] has something to do with the Software of the TV
