Keybr is much better as a beginner than monkey type I actually started at TypingClub just to get familiar with which finger to type which keys, once I was a comfortable I then progressed to keybr got green on all letters, I am now using monkeytype which seems the next logical step Long road ahead Each site seems to have it's advantages, I would have been frustrated to start on monkeytype

Hi, I found out about MonkeyType a month or so ago It is a very well-made site to practice speed typing However, in all the modes I found, the text is just a mashup of words that don't go together I feel like I can type faster with real sentences because I can predict and prepare for the next word Is there a setting to achieve that? Coming from that mindset my configuration on monkeytype is very close to what you recommend Though, apart from the guide being too long (it has a lot of repetitions) I feel like it focuses too much on improving one's worst performance rather than improving evenly on all fields
