- Bolt Mini - MOCA Ethernet setup | TiVo Community Forum
A MoCA network can consist of any mix of MoCA 1 1, standard MoCA 2 0 and extended bonded MoCA 2 0 nodes; many MoCA 1 0 devices will likely bring your MoCA network to its knees, so stick with the later specs MoCA is a point-to-point technology, and two MoCA nodes will communicate with each other at the highest MoCA spec supported by both nodes
- some hints on using Motorola MM1000 and MM1025 MoCA adapters
When I use a different access point connected by MoCA (between the two MM1025 adapters) to Ethernet and then to the cable modem I only get about 120 mb s on Speedtest Perhaps this is because I still have another Roamio (which is MoCA 1 1) sitting out there on MoCA This shouldn't matter since MoCA is theoretically point to point
- Optimum MoCA tx rx power? - TiVo Community Forum
A MoCA receiver can only see the combined signal, and the relative phase of those two portions will determine whether they add constructively or destructively The net loss will have a magnitude in dB than ranges anywhere from the sum of the two dB values to the difference between the two dB values, depending on the relative phases
- Netgear Orbi + MoCA - TiVo Community Forum
MoCA devices are supposed to use the highest protocol supported by both ends when communicating with another MoCA device (some older devices break this, but that's a separate topic)
- Request Help in Physically Setting Up My MoCA Network
The main MoCA Ethernet bridge needs to be wired via Ethernet to the router LAN, either directly or via a network switch Missing from your description is the requisite 70+ dB “PoE” MoCA filter, on or upstream of the top-level splitter’s input port
- Moca Adapter Question | TiVo Community Forum
The ECB2500C are MoCA 1 1 w Fast Ethernet network ports, limiting max unidirectional throughput to 100 Mbps What brand model # adapters are you using to replace them? And where how is the second MoCA adapter being used (assuming one is being used as the main MoCA Ethernet bridge at the router)?
- Setting up a MoCA Network for Tivo | TiVo Community Forum
With the release of the Tivo Mini, Roamio, and BOLT boxes, a lot of people are considering using a MoCA connection rather than ethernet or wireless to communicate between Tivo devices Because a lot of people are new to MoCA, hopefully this quick and dirty setup information will help answer
- MoCA vs Ethernet - TiVo Community Forum
I think I have answer from reading other threads, but just want to ask outright: Is Ethernet better for Mini network, rather than using MoCA? Thanks
