I read the unlocking policies of both T-Mobile and MetroPCS and it seems both will refuse to unlock it, T-Mobile because it needs to be activated on their network for at least 40 days, MetroPCS because the phone is not one of theirs

Which one is MetroPCS since they have partnered up with T-Mobile, are they GSM or CDMA? Before they merged with T-Mobile, they were a CDMA LTE carrier After merging with T-Mobile, T-Mobile shut off their CDMA network and metroPCS is now a GSM HSPA LTE carrier (same network as T-Mobile)

I'm just curious, not that I'm going to do it, have you tried using a T-Mobile phone on MetroPCS and vice versa? I'm now using a T-Mobile LG G5 on Metro PCS with no issues Apparently it only works one way - you need to get a Metro PCS phone unlocked for T-Mobile but not vice versa

Out of these prepaid providers, who's better than the other? I am currently with Boost Mobile paying $47 00 a month, for unlimited text, talk, data But parents sometime wish my bill was less like under 40, but since I own a smart phone the bill is high and insurance makes it high as well
