- Death ward stacking : r dndnext - Reddit
Death ward specifically states "the first time" the target drops to 0hp So the first time that happens, every duplicate of death ward triggers at the exact same time but the creature only benefits from one
- dnd 5e 2014 - Do multiple instances of the Death Ward spell stack on . . .
I can see two possible interactions with multiple castings of death ward: Scenario A Carl has two instances of death ward active on him Only the most recent one applies Carl takes a hit that would drop him to 0 hit points The active instance of death ward triggers, dropping Carl to 1 hit point instead and ending that instance of death ward
- If you have multiple effects that prevent your death how do you . . .
One that trigger automatically, like death ward, all happen at once (sadly) One that let you chose, so half orc, relentless rage, strength of the grave, only activate when you chose to activate them, so they can “stack” one after another
- Theoretically, whats the max amount of Death Ward type . . . - Reddit
A 14th Zealot Barbarian has "Rage beyond death" acts like a super death ward only against non-massive damage while the Rage is on and it stacks with "Persistent Rage" that all barbarians get at 15th lvl The combo of 18th Samurai Fighter "Strength beyond Death" and "Second Wind" act similar to Relentless endurance
- How do the Death Ward spell and the half-orcs Relentless Endurance . . .
What happens when you cast Death Ward on a half-orc? Do the effects of the spell and the half-orc's Relentless Endurance racial trait stack? If so, and you get reduced to 0 HP more than once, can you go back up to 1 HP a second time? Or does only one of them take effect and you can only be brought back to 1 HP once? My DM thinks the latter

Say I have cast Death Ward on one creature already Can I cast Death Ward again on an additional creature without causing the first casting of Death Ward to end?
