I don’t think it necessarily does anything better or worse than the MPX other than factory gas regulation but I do love me an MP5SD The MPXSD is in my opinion the best varient of the MPX but I am a little biased I went with the ILWT - SD Barrel the B T SD suppressor and couldn’t be happier with the results

My assumption is the problem lies in the design of the MPX bolt, you need a full-auto style (milspec) style AR15 bolt for it to work with the part of the trigger that goes up where a full auto sear would go
