MMM hit right when lots of people were primed for exactly that kind of message You had the hipster anti-corporate crowd, the folks graduating into the terrible post-2008 job market with student loans and no prospects, people recovering from the mid-2000s housing mess, and a general sense that the “promised system” wasn’t delivering

In the past year I have come onto the MMM forums maybe a dozen times, just to see what is happening Each time I get more depressed looking at the sorry state of the forum After a visit maybe 6 months ago, I ruminated on this, and decided a (maybe?) final post here from me would be a way to say goodbye to an old dying friend, the MMM forums
