The Mesa has a more flexible EQ, but that won't do you a lot of good if you prefer to the tone of the Orange If it came down to buying a Mesa, I would save up to get either the D800+ or WD800 I am most interested in the WD800 as it has a very powerful and flexible EQ section

I recently noticed a Mesa Boogie Subway Ultra-lite 2x15 bass cab pop up on craigslist and was wondering if anyone here has had any experience using them for music that is on the heavier distorted fuzzier side? My ideal bass tone is similar to that of David Wm Sims of Jesus Lizard, but with a touch more grit to it Thanks!

But no Mesa Boogie for Bass I have never seen any videos of some of my favorite bands players on live gigs with Mesa Boogie bass amps I know a few guitar players that use Mesa Boogie amps They sound ok, could be how they have them set
