I do think the input-only learner idea is a bit of a straw-man: every time I read about someone's success with input-based learning, there's always some active study involved as well that they don't mention at first, for example Gloss Lyricstraining, tutoring, "work explicitly on active skills", time in the country, or all sorts of other things

I would be so happy if someone which is native to the Khmer language or can consult a Khmer expert will be able to separate that Khmer script which will get the "w" pronunciation in Latin on Google Translate and send the character as a separated text without space to me as a reply here on forum

Can you hear the difference? How long have you been learning Russian? Lingua ly or lyricstraining use some gamification as well The problem is that I don't see how you can do gamification right without designing the game around the material Take a look at real games: old-school Mario games were built of levels made of chunks made of blocks made of squares
