I've upgraded several machines from 14 04 to 16 04 and although there have been problems I've been successful in all of them It's been well over a year since I've done a similar upgrade The question that comes to mind is why would you (or anyone for that matter) be running a pre-release versions of either 14 04 or 16 04 at this date?
