- DDR4-3200 LPDDR4-4266 clarification - Toms Hardware Forum
Hello, everybody! According to AMD - AMD Ryzen™ 7 4800H supports DDR4-3200 LPDDR4-4266 I've read some article about IceLake RAM, that LPDDR4 is 16 bit, so dual channel gives only 64 bit in comparison with DDR4 64 bit where dual channel gives 128 bit Is this true? Which combination is faster
- Question - How to know if a specific laptop has DDR4 or LPDDR4 RAM
I read a laptop specs ( Lenovo E41-55) on amazon (highly unreliable source ) where it says RAM 4GB LPDDR4 I have not yet bought that laptop though However I wonder if there's any way one can know for sure if their RAM is DDR or LPDDR e g when I run CPU-Z on my current HP laptop it just says
- LPDDR4 vs. DDR4 - Toms Hardware Forum
LPDDR4 usually is soldered to the board and its not like the regular RAM (performance wise) It is specifically made for tablets and tablet type laptops to save power Those games will not work This is a basic laptop that is good for editing docs and spreadsheets or for browsing
- Question - Difference Between LPDDR and DDR memory?
Currently LPDDR means soldered to the board so no upgrading capacity is possible It requires fewer DRAM packages for the same capacity and uses less power with the primary disadvantages being it's soldered to the board (or sometimes on CPU package) and has higher latency
- Can I use 3200MHz RAM on a 2666 2400 2133 MHz Motherboard

- Confusion on Calculating Memory Bandwidth? (In Bytes)
So, if you have any DDR memory that is, say, 1600Mhz The maximum theoretical bandwidth for that would be 12,800 MB s But I don't under stand why Each clock two bits can be transferred between the I O Bus and the memory controller, and with DDR4 16 bits per clock between the storage array and
- [SOLVED] - How to check if my RAM is Samsung b-die?
Comparing to other software Thaiphoon Burner creates the most completed reports for any of the following SDRAM types of DIMM modules: PC SDRAM, DDR SDRAM, DDR2 SDRAM, DDR3 SDRAM, DDR2 FB-DIMM, DDR4 SDRAM, LPDDR3 and LPDDR4 This is achieved due to universal built-in SPD decoding engine See "Die Density Count" for die type
