What was your source for the new Leeson you have? the final character might be an "E" rather than an "F", that character rests on the line beneath the model number Catalog number is 120824 00 The motor was purchased by a large tool dealer in Minneapolis that I've been told is no longer in business

What has me even more confused are the specs given for different motors There is an 1800rpm Leeson motor that specifies 10:1 turn-down ratio, speed range 600-4,000 rpm and 30-60Hz all at the same time I really don't know what to make of that
- Motor question: Selective CCW? - WoodNet

Regarding motors, there's probably little practical difference for a hobby machine That said it seems wrong to saddle an old American tool with a Chinese motor try Craigslist or similar for a good used American motor at a new Chiese motor price (For example, I spent $140 to put a used 3hp made in USA Dayton TEFC 1725 rpm motor on my bandsaw)
- Rockwell Radial Drill Press Motor Bearing Replacement - WoodNet
I did a lengthy web search for the bearings, based on the Rockwell motor number (62-142) and the Leeson Motor Number (I am guessing it is the M4C17DH12A number) but could find nothing Any way to identify these bearings, short of disassembling the motor? Thanks! Motors like that usually used two 6203 shielded but I would prefer sealed
