The Kessil doesn't even produce enough light to grow algae on my glass - not one diatom! my CUC snails were attacking the corals for food last night and that was the last straw - there is not enough light to produce algae that my CUC can eat

My Kessil a80 (15 watt) light is 6 inches above the tank with it being 13” of water top to bottom With a spectral controller ramping up and down 5 percent color (mostly blue)

If any macroalgae enthusiasts have some thoughts on just how much of a difference full-spectrum lighting makes, I would love to hear them! It would be simple for me to switch over from the Tuna Blue to a Tuna Sun since I already have Kessil's controller, but I want to make sure it will be worth the time and money before I make that investment
