I went to jhu undergrad, premed office artificially keeps those stats up, they won’t write a committee letter for you unless you have a very good chance of being accepted So even those lower gpa applicants, definitely had other things on their resumes that helped ensure they got an acceptance, they wouldn’t be allowed to apply otherwise
